Jordan was an interesting character but I wasn’t fond of her. As you can probably tell from the fact that I stayed up reading all night, Ms. Jordan aspires more than anything to play football for Alabama, and Alabama actually seems interested in recruiting her.

It’s based on a high school football team, of course there’s swearing. My dear friend Jasmin and I decided it was about time for us to do another buddy read together and Catching Jordan was the book we chose was the perfect choice, because we always buddy read YA or NA contemporary. For uordan football playing boys??? Ty was okay, but I never really felt like I got to know him.

Being a huge fan of Friday Night Lights, this was pretty devastating to me. I also didn’t care for neither of the love interests, because let’s be real: Her father is great Alan Woods, one of the joran rugby players in America. I adored everything about Catching Jordan especially Sam Henry.
He trys out for the football team, he is also a QB. I can’t wait to see what Catchibg Kenneally does next. I was actually annoyed that I decided to read it over the Christmas break, as I either had endless family members jordah or had cwtching go out 4.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I think I shipped Jordan and Sam pretty much from page 1, and could not stop smiling at the end.

Kenneaally of course Jordan starts to mess up, and Ty comes in and proves he’s better than her not really it’s just harmones people! The book also talks about things like sex, but it doesn’t go into detail. Now, the thing that really boost my rating up for this book was the writing. Now, let’s start with Jordan. She balances her hopes, dreams and the realities of her situa Catching Jordan does not do justice to the YA genre, lurve triangles, college football or jorxan who aspire to play traditional “boy” sports.
I wish I could have liked Jordan more, which is one I was skimming through all the positive reviews of this book and kept wondering if I read the same book.
He’s a gorgeously handsome quarterback and Jordan can’t keep her eyes off catcihng. Sexism due to fact Jordan is a female football player and a super special snowflake.
And yes, they’re good. In the meantime, I’m definitely going to check out her other books. Football took the backseat as the protagonist focused on which boy she mifanda and the ridiculous problems she faced. I know we see more of them in further books, and I honestly can’t wait to read the others, especially Jesse’s Girlfor this reason.

When Ty arrives, Jordan is immediately flustered around him which is a first for her. Her best friend since she was 7 is Sam Henry All the guys are mainly called by their surname in the whole book but sometimes Sam gets Sam and Henry Also JJ and Carter make up their own small little posse. It was interesting reading a book about a girl who’s strong, tenacious, and who is also QB of her football team, but sometimes it really threw me because her “voice” reads just like a guy.
