This is a different sort of Latin American novel and the detailed memoir style with the deeper insight into that particular revolutionary world makes this a worthy read indeed.
The edition that I read many years ago, while I still lived in my native country of Bolivia is: Los Tiempos, Los Amigos del Libro. Unfortunately, I do not find this exact edition here in Goodreads. I will read it. I’m hoping this was just a bad translation.
